This policy applies to the TLC Mood Tracker mobile app (bundle identifier: com.tlc.moodtracker).

Depending on how you use the app, we may process the following data:

  • Account information (provider ID, email, display name) when you sign in with Apple or Google.
  • Mood check-in entries and optional diary content that you create in the app.
  • Reminder settings, theme preferences, and sync metadata needed to operate app features.
  • Subscription entitlement status (free/premium, status, product ID, expiry metadata).
  • Technical security logs needed to protect services and prevent abuse.

3. How We Use Data

  • To provide mood tracking, journaling, reminders, and cross-device sync features.
  • To authenticate users and protect accounts from unauthorized access.
  • To determine premium access based on subscription entitlement state.
  • To maintain service reliability, security monitoring, and fraud prevention.
  • To provide support when a user requests help.

4. Legal Basis (EEA/UK Users)

  • Contract performance: to provide app functionality you request.
  • Legitimate interests: service security, diagnostics, and abuse prevention.
  • Consent: for device notifications/reminders where required.

5. Data Storage and Retention

  • Your app data is stored locally on device and may be synchronized to backend infrastructure when enabled.
  • We retain account and synced data while your account remains active, unless deletion is requested.
  • Security and audit events may be retained for a limited period to protect the service.

We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed by infrastructure providers that host backend APIs, databases, and monitoring systems strictly for service delivery.

7. Your Rights

You may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data depending on applicable law.

  • You can request account deletion and synced data deletion via the account deletion process.
